In November 2021, Lisa Calabrese joined the Piteo Accounting & Advisory team as a Bookkeeper. While now focusing on bookkeeping is Lisa’s priority, she otherwise has a dynamic accounting background. From obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and working as an Accountant at other firms, to working for the State Government as a Team Leader within the Revenue SA department.
Lisa’s passion for her job is obvious, and she is excited to be working with Marco in 2022, to bring his bookkeeping ideas to life, which of course includes growing the business with the Piteo team in stride. Bringing her own aspirations to life is also a goal of Lisa’s this year – she is excited to grow the Bookkeeping team, and to analyse the company’s current bookkeeping procedures to ensure as efficient and effective as possible.
Lisa has many daily tasks that keep her busy! Reconciling client accounts with use of programs like Xero and MYOB, and preparing and lodging BAS are just some. While analysing these elements are at her role’s core, Lisa most enjoys meeting various clients and learning about the vast array of industries they work in.
When she’s not in the office – she takes on the role as busy mum – a role a lot of us can relate to! With her children being her greatest achievement, Lisa always ensures that they are number one, so she will always be there to take them to soccer games and dancing – and of course, the reward after? Attending the gym and heading out to dinners with friends.
