Welcome Carlo, who commenced at Piteo Accounting & Advisory in 2020 as a Junior Bookkeeper. He is currently completing his second year of Bachelor of Accounting and Corporate Finance at Adelaide University. While his study is underway, he is committed to getting as much industry exposure and knowledge as possible to help his career excel. After completing a work experience placement at the Practice, Piteo Accounting & Advisory are proud to have officially hired Carlo and be able help develop the next generation of accountants.
Why did Carlo choose to study accounting?
Being able to assist people and solve problems are two reasons why Carlo chose the accounting industry. However, his greater goal post completion of his degree and achieving his CA/CPA status is to find a specific area of accounting to specialise in. We’re excited to see what Carlo chooses.
What is Carlo’s most memorable moment so far?
When it comes to memorable moments inside and outside of work, his favourite so far are getting to know his colleagues, and also cooking the BBQ alongside his team at Kickstart for Kids’s community volunteer program. Outside of his day job, Carlo enjoys spending time with his family, grandparents, and friends, along with travelling.
